Science has the best of both worlds; girls that are smart and decent-looking. In commerce, the girls may be good looking but for smarts... heh.

LFS is the opposite of engineering for the guy:girl ratio. Its set up so that there is 1 common class amongst everyone in each year level of the faculty (LFS 100, 250, 350, etc) so lots of chances to meet everyone. Lots of organic-natural-hippie types though |

LFS (Land and Food Systems) has a lot of chicks. I'm a MUG leader this coming September and when I went into the orientation it was like damn. I was the only guy in there. I'm not even messing with you ~25 girls in that room and me. Shit just got real.

how many courses u doing? | "Regular" course load is 7 courses and if you do that for 4 years it's only your undergrad. Only a 1/4th of every first year cohort going into engineering will be able to do that.
It takes a combination of smarts, work ethic and living on campus (or commuting less than an hour a day) to be able to do it. That and very little sleep and very little socializing outside of the people you see in classes. |

What dept are you? I'm IGEN, hence the terrible exam schedule this time around.

Finishing a bachelor's in engineering in 4 years is the case for maybe about 1/3 of the students, at least in ECE. The other 2/3 are in co-op.. or fail courses that are only offered for four months of the year. The ones that do finish within 4 years usually take summer school too.

It would fucking suck if there wasn't... All the hard work that those engineering students put in to their studies lol
