Now that I look back on those type of events, going to one is always a yay. It only becomes a nay experience if you weren't 'successful' in catching someone's attention

Can't really say yay or nay. For the experience, definitely yay. Its pretty hard to find an accounting job right now in Vancouver.

Yes and no. We had an accounting opening at work for awhile, over two weeks we had something like 120 applications with people ranging from fresh grads to people with 20 yrs experience. Sure there are jobs, but it seems to be more people than jobs right now.

EDIT: this was for a crappy entry level clerk too....
