Wealth? Or status? So which one would you choose and why? If you could choose, would you be person A: a multi-billionaire, whose job is a sales associate and knows how to invest money, or would you be person B: a well recognized court judge who has huge influential power, or a heart surgeon who did research and discovered a new treatment that everyone is thankful for, but in these professions will make less money in comparison to the person A. This question popped up in my mind after reading rich daddy, poor daddy. Posted via RS Mobile |
in profession B you make less money, but we're still talking at least 300K+ here. Of course profession B with the job satisfaction |
Hmm... There are countless ways to die, and the worst is to fade away without any purpose so I would have to go with B. You could have a lot of money to invest but in the end you have to treat the night as a hole in yesterday, and a tunnel into tomorrow. Our decisions should be based upon what makes us feel complete as an individual, even if it Means disregarding our hedonistic pursuits as well as cumulating material wealth. Posted via RS Mobile |
Neither. Health and Happiness are all I really care about. |
B. Being able to influence someone is greater than money. You should consider reading "How to influence people and make friends". |
I would rather be a mutli-billionare. I would much rather be enjoying how I spend money without other people minding what I spend iton if my name was known. I quite enjoy my privacy. I'm pretty sure being a wealthy person will have influences in its own certain ways as well ;) |
Wealth hands down! dont care about status if had a stupid amount of money i wouldnt want fake ppl trying to use me for my money. i would rather just spend my money in peace and be forever alone :alone: |
|
I would say person B. Money doesn't equal happiness and billionaires are often seen negatively (besides who needs that much money really...) |
A in the end of the day its money that makes this world spin |
making it rain all day baby |
Only on Revscene would this really be a discussion topic. Believe it or not, there is more to life than either A or B |
I'd choose A When u'r rich, the last thing u want is for everyone to know u'r rich. BTW, don't take what rich dad, poor dad too literally. Learn the basic personal finance concept and take everything else with a grain of salt. |

A. cuz u have to be soooo dedicated to education thus having no life... Where as A. Money flows and money is happiness, yes im not well educated in a particular profession and finding a cure and such....but!!!!!!!! Without the money of multi-billionaires, there would be no research to begin with..... Posted via RS Mobile |
A quit sales associate job invest $ ?? Profit!! |
Wealth gets you status :fuckthatshit: |
Wealth. |
:suspicious: |
Yet i know people who go from B to A... this question is interesting and yes..more to life than just that. Money doesnt buy health. I think we all saw what happened to Steve Jobs Steve Jobs was a combination of both |
Option A. Money doesn't buy happiness, health, or other things in life. It does help you buy a huge garage full of your favorite cars. Wealth brings security. That's what I want. Recognition? Fame doesn't pay the bills unless you're an A list actor, pro athlete, etc. I wanna be a billionnaire, so frickin bad. LOL |
"heart surgeon who did research and discovered a new treatment " i'm more happy saving lives |
I'm actually quite surprised at the amount of people who would prefer status Imo status is just getting respect from people who you don't even like nor respect. I'd much rather live a humble life with billions in my bank account, than be a high profile broke guy. Posted via RS Mobile |
