| Route KS Japan - NSX-R Heaven
Route KS is one of Japan's leading NSX specialty shop.
Full story here: FEATURE – HONDA NSX-R HEAVEN : 7Tune.com  The shop is located in Suzuka and Keiichi Tsuchiya aka drift king is a part of it.  Endless amount of NSX  The original NSX Type R prototype chasis  With OEM dry carbon parts  For some reason the aluminum is coated in white  The NSX-R should have came with options to show off the carbon fiber  These dry carbon doors are $8000USD, almost as expensive as the real NSX-R Carbon/kevlar seats.  OEM wheels made by BBS, mated to Bridgestone RE070 asymmetrical tires made specially for the NSX-R  Car on the left had 10,000km and the one on the far side have only 500km and is not for sale.  Its pretty much brand new except for one thing.  NSX-R goes for around $160,000CAD when new, nowadays examples like these fetch $200,000CAD in Japan on the used car market.  528km to be exact...  Early model NSX-R still command an impressive $80,000CAD on the market.  NSX-R are usually known for their signature white paint, but factory had a huge variety of options to spec them out in.  Like this black on black example, golden Brembo calipers were usually reserved for the US market.  And this gunmetal ones.  The heart of NSX-R, 3.2L V-TEC + VVIS (Variable Volume Induction System) high revving motor rumored to make over 320hp.  The ultimate driver's cockpit, it was named car of the year 2003 by EVO magazine of UK over cars such as 996 GT3 and Ferrari F430. Glad to see things are kept alive and well, can't say the same for Honda Motor Co. |

My friend gave me a ride in his NA1 in Hong Kong about 6yrs ago and he spent an arm to get a steering wheel and a pair of Recaro bucket seats off from a NSX-R. It was a nice enough ride in his NA1. Engine & everything and of course the recaro feels GREAT! Wonder how it's like in a NSX-R...
Guess I will never have a chance to find out unless I go to Japan.

Honda probably have/had what it takes to make it fully out of carbon fiber. The HSV-010 (Acura ASCC) NSX replacement was one, it was ready for production.
The NSX's had aluminum in 91, impressive when Ferrari had to wait until the 360 Modena to use it, Audi with the R8, Lambo with the Gallardo etc... literally at least 10 years ahead.
They were the first one to make that white thing out of all aluminum when most maker didn't even think of using aluminum in cars. Honda always had good engineers, but the difference is now their management don't have what it takes to put it to good use.
