What do you guys thing of the Western Digital dual drive. It's a 120 GB ssd and a 1 TH dh in a standard 2.5 inch laptop drive. I plan on putting it in a laptop and doing a fresh install Newegg has it for $159.

If not, the Cooler Master N600 (more budget) or Fractal Design R4/R5 (more high-end) are all good cases. If he just wants the cheapest and decent case, I would recommend the Antec One. Just make sure the GPU fits in it.
We built it last night, he went with the Cooler Master N600 and I'm jealous, it's a hell of a lot nicer than my case. The supplied fans are quiet as hell which was a nice surprise, the only thing we can't figure out is what the heck the vertical removable panel is that's next to all the PCI slots? It looks about the size of a PCI card but I can't sort out what it's for:

(between the fan and PSU along the open edge of the case).

Its just an expansion slot for things like a fan controller, fan, extra usb slots, etc. Things that can fit in the horizontal slots, but that dont need to be plugged into a pci/pcie slot on the motherboard.

Examples:

Next derpy question, I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 which according to this:

Buy the Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 760G AM3+ mATX MOTHERBOARD at TigerDirect.ca

supports Crossfire. Maybe I'm a bit dense, but I'm only seeing 1 PCI-E x16 slot on there, so am I correct in thinking TD is wrong and I can't somehow run 2 GPUs?

Not worth it. The SSD is slow from what I have read. It's only worth if you need both storage and speed. Also, price.

I never reformat. No need to unless you constantly load junk on your PC.

So I need to bring my computer with me when I move. I'll be flying so I can't just put it in a car and drive. Anyone have any ideas on how to pack it up and make sure it gets to the place in one piece?

I'm thinking of just taking it apart and putting it in their boxes and then just buying a new case and build it again.

I've packed my full tower back into its original packing box (complete with original protective styrofoam around all 8 corners). The box was obviously for a PC case, and I slapped 2 big red [FRAGILE] stickers on other side of the box. I took the video card out and stuff it back into its original packaging as well, but everything else was still plugged in on the mobo and stuff. The tower's box received zero damage from its flight, and it started right up when I re-installed the video card.

Obviously, YMMV.

Thanks I think that's what I'm going to do as well. It seems better than having to take out the mobo and everything else.

The only thing that you should take out is the video card.

Everything else will be fine if properly secured and you place the tower in its original box.

NCIX has a video of a preassembled NCIX PC and how they package it with the video card installed if you want to look it up.

So I wouldn't really need to take out my CPU heatsink either? It seems like it would be pretty heavy and might pull on the mobo?

If it's secured properly, no.

I'd take out any mechanical HDD's as well, to save them from any jarring that might occur. Everything else should be fine if it's screwed down properly, I'd double check that the PSU is in there tight and not worry about the rest.

I'm looking at these monitors found them through RFD.

I'll be using it for CS Go mostly. Insights? I was leaning towards the first one just because of how thin the bezel is but not sure if it's worth the extra $100?

You're looking at the Dell US prices.

Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor ? U2414H : Parts & Upgrades | Dell Canada

I have the U2414H ($50 more than the above referenced Benq) and it looks awesome on my desk. Since purchasing an IPS monitor, everything else looks like shiet. Would highly recommend.

The BenQ is actually on sale for $150 at bestbuy right now. Will I notice a huge difference with the BenQ over the Dell? I don't see any good deals on 144hz monitor

You are better off waiting for a 144hz if your Gpu can maintain it.

Need to upgrade my video card but it will require a new PSU. Worth it? Or should I just build a new PC entirely.

Running a i5 quad from 2010.
