^Yes.

W.4th is filled with people who can't parallel park so buses just run in the middle when it's rush hour. Really no way around it...Broadway is usually a bit better, but much more traffic.

^streets too narrow , kinda hard to leave a 20cm gap between the bus and parked car mirror when the bus is 45ft long

They should ONLY take up 2 lanes if the lanes are tight such as along arbutus. However cuz they are a bus they think they are boss and doesn't give two shits.

Most bus drivers don't take up two lanes because they want to ruin your day.

They do it because the implications and liability when they do get into an accident is much greater than just having people angry at them.

If I were a bus driver, I'd also drive like that, not because I enjoy making you take an extra 5 minutes on your drive, but because I don't want to destroy side mirrors, scrape endless cars, or hit someone because I wasn't able to react fast enough and some teenager on a cellphone steps out from between parked cars.

I know it's hard, but try to see things from a positive perspective once in a while. You'll live longer.

and this is why you're not a bus driver

no it's actually for everyone's safety that they take up 2 lanes preventing you from passing in certain situations
I was thought when driving over the patullo in a 5 ton that I was to take up 2 lanes before the curve in situations where the back of the truck is too long and actually consumes more than it's own lane during the turn. also sometimes it leaves narrow enough gaps for a car to slip by but not enough time for he driver to react in the situation that anything occurs. just imagine some cocky inexperience driver tryin to squeeze through there causing an accident. it's for your own damn benefit, they'll move over when it's cleared and safe

Some douche was yelling at me for letting an older driver make a left in the outside parking lot at Metrotown. He then proceeds to drive extremely fast, tires chirping every chance he gets. Still ends up not finding any parking.

His gf looked embarrassed

I have no clue what this guy was thinking when he parked the car. There was nobody in the car or even close to being near the car. WTF?

Saw some guy in an older domestic be a total ass to the car in front. Car in front, which I think was a silver Camry or something, was trying to turn left onto 22nd Ave from a side street, and I could clearly see traffic coming from both ways. After like, 20 seconds the guy behind him (in front of me) got super impatient and started honking, yelling, slapping his door, and that thing where you let off the gas and quickly stomp the brake hard, in an auto, making the car jerk. Light up ahead turned red after about a minute, so the Camry was finally able to turn left because someone stopped and let her in. Asshat in the domestic tailgates her as she turns, then pulls up next to her and starts screaming his head off. I mean, come on dude, there was clearly no room to turn left. Must've been upset that his $2.00 7-11 coffee was too watery

Saw this at about 12:30am last night at No.3 and Alderbridge Way.

Looks like an Evo 9 with a mod kit from what I was told from friends who were behind me driving as well. The right of the vehicle is messed up from apparently hitting the post (notice the hood is lifted a bit)! The people were outside the car and there was a RCMP cruiser right behind it which was obscured from my mirror.

Either the driver was going too fast off a turn or they were drink and driving to mess up that side of the car to hit the post like that.

I keep forgetting shit that happens on the road I need some sort of notepad to jot down times.

I had something happen to me like that pedestrian/lexus thing last week except I was the pedestrian along with 3 others at BCIT crossing at the cross walk. Person looked straight at us.

This happens to often at every turn when people THINK there are no cars. How hard is it to properly turn.

Holy shit that was so close. Thought you were going to hit the curb for sure. That should have warranted a long ass horn. Not even a signal!

Wow, That was similar to when the damn truck driver ran me off on number 6. Except one truck was slowed and started to turn left into Canada post and the tail gating truck pulled into my lane i fucked up both rims on the passenger side from bouncing off the curb then hitting it again, jumping over and a tree scratched the back of the mirror. Guy never even stopped for me
