similar to mine tonight 330 TSG green 2000+ cavalier
hwy 1 EB, after just before the canada way exit i'm on the HOV lane, he's on the left lane. during this time of night, there's only two lanes, the left lane + hov lane.
canada way exit, he uses the offramp to speed past car#1 and cuts back in the left lane. since i was a bit faster on the HOV lane, he crosses the HOV solid line (we're right under the kensington bridge at this point) right behind me with probably a meter to spare and in the process cuts off the car behind me.
i was making a pass and planning to go back onto the left lane from the hov lane at the dotted lines after the kensington exit and i was already at 90km/h, but he tailgated me the whole way as i was faster than the line of cars on the left lane. when i was about to go back to the left lane, the right lane opens up for the kensington onramp and he cut across two lanes, through the line of cars on the left lane to get to the right lane and he speeds up to at least 110 to beat me making my lane change. i was already halfway on the lane when he cut me off and almost side swiped me.
then he continues on swerving between lines and lanes and tailgating the whole way through the whole 7 km's to brunette exit. 2 lane hwy (switching between hov+left or left+right), rain, construction workers. i hope he wins a darwin award soon.
Mini rant, what the hell is up with people driving on side streets?
If there's no cars parked on your side of the road (at all, entire other side is empty), but there are on mine, doesn't it make sense for YOU to move over into the free space?
Some idiot LB in mom's RX350 decided to gun it at me in the middle of the road, flash his headlights and give me the horn... all while there was ~10 feet on his right where he could easily move over with ample space for both of us to pass without slowing down. More immature me would've done a U-turn and caught upto the guy and gave him a piece of my mind. Fucking idiots, wish I had a dash cam I would've thought twice about slamming on the brakes and swerving to avoid him.
Nearly had my front end taken off by a semi turning left onto Fraser just south of Marine. Had to go to Volco Tires there for some parts using the back street, and I guess the semi didn't quite swing wide enough. The back tires of its trailer came within a foot of the corner of my front bumper, even though I was a good 2-3 meters behind the stop line since I saw him turning.
