Alright so update for those that want to know.

Sending a complaint to the BBB = answers. I also gotten a response from the 24 paper who have assigned a report to it to see if they can pull a story from it.

Bonny's called me back today telling me that I was suppose to get a answer from them at least 2 weeks ago but the "forgot" and thats why I am getting one now. When asked why they would think I have gotten a response already when I keep calling in and emailing them resulted in a "we thought it was done already" but anyways on to the answers.

The company never apologized to me and I wasn't allowed to speak to or get any info about the driver but I did find out that he was suspensed for 2 weeks and lost his full time position with the company. Recently they allowed him to come back part time but he has been flagged so that any other complaints will result in his permanent unemployment. This is more than enough for me though I plan to leave my BBB complaint in action as well as let the reports do their work.

Hi guys, just found this awesome thread. Read a few pages and will definitely browse all of them. Was just a few pages back and saw the bad pedestrians videos. I have never seen anyone honked at the pedestrians even when your lights are green for a few good seconds, but I have seen people honked at bad drivers. Is it because the pedestrians always have the right-a-way, and not really good to honk at pedestrians?

Pedestrians have the right of way in marked crosswalks, or when their crossing light is green. Crossing the street where there isn't a cross walk (side streets exempt), or when the "do not cross" light is on is called jaywalking. It is illegal, ticketable, and drivers do not have to yield to them.

Directly from the BC Motor Vehicle Act:

Is it that hard to tell you haven't turn on your tailights? I was almost killed by the bicycle. It was dark on No.4. I can barely see the bike in front of me until approaching him. Also, I flashed headlights to remind the Suv turning on the tailights on hwy. No Response at all. I gave up at the end. Sigh!!! Btw, SUV driver is not a C-LAI

Northbound Knight St before the bridge was a mess today. Everyone driving on the shoulder, cutting people off, and trying to cheat traffic.

I have so much footage from my dashcam that I'm too lazy to even edit because of the large amount of bad driving.

Directly from the BC Motor Vehicle Act:
Rights of way between vehicle and pedestrian
179 (1) Subject to section 180, the driver of a vehicle must yield the right of way to a pedestrian where traffic control signals are not in place or not in operation when the pedestrian is crossing the highway in a crosswalk and the pedestrian is on the half of the highway on which the vehicle is travelling, or is approaching so closely from the other half of the highway that he or she is in danger.

(2) A pedestrian must not leave a curb or other place of safety and walk or run into the path of a vehicle that is so close it is impracticable for the driver to yield the right of way.
(3) If a vehicle is slowing down or stopped at a crosswalk or at an intersection to permit a pedestrian to cross the highway, the driver of a vehicle approaching from the rear must not overtake and pass the vehicle that is slowing down or stopped.
(4) A pedestrian, cyclist or the driver of a motor vehicle must obey the instructions of an adult school crossing guard and of a school student acting as a member of a traffic patrol where the guards or students are
(a) provided under the School Act,
(b) authorized by the chief of police of the municipality as defined in section 36 (1), or
(c) if located on treaty lands, authorized by the chief of the police force responsible for policing the treaty lands.
Crossing at other than crosswalk
180 When a pedestrian is crossing a highway at a point not in a crosswalk, the pedestrian must yield the right of way to a vehicle.

Duty of driver
181 Despite sections 178, 179 and 180, a driver of a vehicle must

(a) exercise due care to avoid colliding with a pedestrian who is on the highway,
(b) give warning by sounding the horn of the vehicle when necessary, and
(c) observe proper precaution on observing a child or apparently confused or incapacitated person on the highway
.
you actually have to attempt to avoid collision with them, so in essence you still should try to yield to them. according to the MVA, a pedestrian who crosses at a place that isn't a crosswalk isn't illegal unless it impedes traffic.
