The rain drops you see in the video is beyond the reach of my wipers. The camera is mounted at the top of the windshield. I should reapply the RainX

There's another one minutes away that I find is much better.

It's in the small stripmall complex behind wings, right beside the Korean Karaoke.

...but back on topic

Holy dammit... it's only Thursday, but it must have been at least the 4th or 5th car that I ran into this week without turning on their lights in the dark. And when I looked into her instrumentation console as I drove pass her, there wasn't even any light there at all. WTF are these people doing on the road?!

You ran into 4 or 5 cars this week..

Spoiler!

I see it alot now in the mornings.. People just ignore that it's still dark out and don't bother with headlights/taillights.. they just drive with DRL's on..

I lightly honk and/or flash my high beams to these drivers every time I see them on the road. Most of the time they don't notice / don't seem to notice anything for the first few minutes. Sometimes they do notice I am honking / flashing them, but they almost always don't have the slightest clue why I am doing it, and they don't turn on their lights. At most, they think I'm pissed off at them, and pull off to the side and let me pass.

I'd say 80% of the time, these no headlight cars are being driven by Chinese drivers.

Of all the times I've high beamed people with no lights on, only one person has done it. Made me laugh, never expected it to happen haha.

I spent many MANY hours researching cheap dashcams, but I settled on the GT550W from FoxOffer.com for $100 and have been quite satisfied with the quality both day and night (switch to HD):

I currently just have it in my cig lighter but the wire routed cleanly through my dashboard, up the A-pillar and in the headliner; super clean.

Planning to hardwire it soon, just trying to decide whether or not I want a Power Kit to use parking mode.

I don't have it hard-wired with a power kit, but yes it has a G-sensor and Motion Sensor functionality for parking mode.

mine is hardwired without a power kit.. only turns on for a couple mins when something is around my car or touches it.. so that little camera isnt going to drain my battery.. i also drive the car like 5 times a day so it never has the chance to run my battery down

Not really a shitty driver, but a shitty place to drive by... dash cam didn't save the ordeal because it was the 5-7 seconds between two videos but try to avoid Fraser highway near whalley blvd in Surrey. Just drove past (~1:30am) and a group of teens are throwing baking soda bombs at cars driving past. Swerved to avoid one of the three thrown at my car and ended up driving over the curb...
