^0:55, there is no solid white lines indicating you MUST turn right at the first right turn.

Ya that lane is kinda shitty designed, confusing whether it's designed to merge earlier in the lane or closer to the turn.

Burnaby.

Toyota Echo. Instead of angling left as he/she should, goes straight/right into the intersection, and goes way too far into the intersection. It looks less severe then it was. Has no concept that they can turn when there is no oncoming traffic.

I only turned behind them to clear the intersection when the light went yellow. He/she sat so long in the intersection that an integra that was 2-3 car lengths behind me, and wasn't in the turn lane managed to run the RED light and still turn under the echo.

Video is cut off, as it hit the recording gap. I didn't really need the extra 3 seconds of me completing a normal left turn.

You are an idiot.

It's because of impatient people like you that there is a 3 car accident in the middle of a busy intersection and it takes me 4 months to get home.

Next time just honk.

why can't you be patient? your turn was illegal and very dangerous. you are no better than the driver in the echo.

No better? He's worse ...

Turned a minor annoyance into a potential accident for no good reason ...

And you're not supposed to angle your car left as the poster suggested as, if you get rear-ended, you get pushed into oncoming traffic.

Send that shit into police - apparently the month of November, they're cracking down on intersection offences. That one pretty much breaks every rule there is.

Fair enough, I'll admit I was a bit impatient, but my concern was to clear the intersection after the light went yellow.

The intersection is not 90 deg square. You're correct, in a perfectly square intersection, if you angle out and get rear ended, you get pushed out into traffic. That intersection at Still Creek is at angled to the left.

The echo was actually interfering with the straight through lanes to the right and was so high in the intersection they'd be in the spot where the oncoming left turner would be.

Dear Audi driver: there must have been a better way to cross the France-Switzerland border than somersaulting your car into the air to get over it, right? Yeah? No? Okay, fine.

Actually, what you're looking at is the scene of an accident that occurred last week in France near the town of Thônex in Switzerland, right on the border between the two countries. The Tribune de Genéve reports that the French-registered Audi crashed into a angled guardrail at a high speed, which sent the car soaring into the sky over a currency exchange. They say he didn't see the guardrail coming because he was trying to set his GPS system. (Are we sure he's not an English soccer player?)

In total, the Audi driver traveled a distance 70 meters, or about 230 feet, and went about 15 feet off the ground, the newspaper claims. He does not appear to have been successful at crossing that border.

The good news is that he and his passenger were unharmed, and according to border guards, were completely unaware of what happened to them.
