A knife? no problem I have a small kershaw pocket knife on me always, as well as a large fixed blade benchmade in my door side pocket.

A gun? naahhh not in north vancouver.

I know what you are saying though, and it is totally true. Normally I do not at all advocate doing this, but my anger honestly got the better of me at that moment in time. Even now thinking about it it was pretty stupid.

Yeah, that guy was not noticeable until it was too close to him to do anything.

Did something nice today. Video does replay a small segment (unintentionally) lol

For those that can't see, the gascap was dangling by the string and the lid was shut on top of it...how that's even possible is beyond me lol

I don't think the video was accelerated at all. I accelerated as I normally do from a stop (maybe a little harder as the noise from my exhaust is nice under the load of that hill...)

You may have the bigger knife, but if you get into a knife fight there's a very good chance you'll get injured. ANYWAYS, this is why my windows are done up 99% of the time.

I think it's the noise from your car's exhaust from hard acceleration that may have attracted the dude's attention

I yelled at him, and explained to him (in my yelling voice) that he was the one who was jaywalking and wearing dark clothes. And that he should think twice before messing with someones car because one day someone is going to fuck him up for it.

And as I was starting to walk away I mentioned that if he ever came close to my specific car again I would have his life.

Almost got sideswiped again earlier tonight.. People need to freaking shoulder check!

Can't see it too well on camera, but the Honda Civic changes lanes right into me as I'm passing him. I swerved right a bit into the side road to avoid him, and he pulled back into his lane after seeing me. REALLY close call.

Thinking back, maybe I should have let him hit me and get some cash out of it... Since ICBC is already gonna fix/replace that door..

Excuse the swearing, I was pretty pissed.

@xXSupa
The best way to avoid side swipes are to limit time in someone else's blind spot.

I assume no one checks their blind spots so I never put myself in a blind spot for more than a second.

If I'm cruising and speedmatched with the car beside me, I stagger my position myself about a car length back.

If I am passing, I accelerate by quickly to limit exposure.

Assuming people shoulder check is like assuming Richmond drivers stay within the lines.

FUUUUUU. C-Lai + N sign = can't say enough.

Never seen anybody blew a red light to turn right...

Sorry about the music played loud at the end.

Can't you legally turn right on a red light unless there's a sign that states no right turns on a right?

^ Yes, but the car must come to a full stop first before proceeding to make a right. Common mistake that almost always leads to a pedestrian nearly getting hit at stopped traffic.

You have to stop (or at least slow) to see if there are cars or pedestrians. In the vid the driver just blew through AND cut into the second lane.

^My door already has a dent in it from the last guy that hit me. The thought of it happening twice was what pissed me off.
