Revscene SpottedSpotted Revscene Members all across town
Did you happen to see a Revscene member or a car with a Revscene sticker on the road or somewhere? Or happen to see a car of interest that you'd like to share with pictures? Post it up here!
I didn't watch the entire thing, but speed had very little to do with any of those... Driving like a complete fucking moron cause everyone of them. Holding a baby while driving, staring at a chick while driving, passing on a blind corner etc. None had anything to do with speeding.
And earlier in the year, some idiot girl tried to beat the train through a train crossing, got clipped by the train (unfortunately, she wasn't injured or killed), derailed the train, and forced the rail company to rent 2 buses to get people to their destination.
Heading for the Cowichan Commons Mall, she was "not paying attention," Power said, and by the time she realized the lights were flashing and heard the train's horn, she decided it was too late to stop. The woman then attempted to accelerate through the crossing, and was hit by the train. - See more at: http://www.cowichanvalleycitizen.com....tWkGIaVJ.dpuf
Power said she was charged with failure to stop at a railway crossing, issued a ticket for $109 and had two points taken off her licence.
I can't find the article, but I remember reading a follow-up on this in the paper a few weeks later where they revealed that she has been involved in a number of car accidents including another accident at a train crossing the previous year that shut down service for several hours. This was apparently her first ticket.
VIA rail shut down operation of the island rail service in March 2011 due in part to costs associated with the investigation of these two incidents as well as the legal costs associated with them (both families filed lawsuits as well as some of the passengers on the train).
Stupid people ... Ruining everything for everyone since the beginning of society.
just now mountain Hwy and main St. In North Vancouver. Dodge neon turning left literally had its front tire buckle under the car. Looked like the suspension failed entirely. Car was probably not maintained properly as it looked like a rusted out heap of shit. Posted via RS Mobile
