The car situation is a little different... the driver of the Charger walked up to a car with an individual inside, made threatening gestures, and punched the window of the vehicle. Which can be construed as an attempt to gain entry of the vehicle, either to steal it or cause bodily harm/injury to the driver of the Audi.

In either case, a physical response with the minimum amount of force (i.e, don't pull out a gun and shoot Mr. Charger a bunch of times) would likely be seen as an act of self defense, IF the Audi driver can prove he acted in fear due to him feeling that his safety was endangered. I don't know about you, but if that were me, I would definitely see Mr. Charger's actions as a threat to my personal safety. More so if the person is of smaller size, stature, younger than the alleged attacker.

Yes, and also remember that he just drove away from the situation. He did not get out and start power bombing people.

You are (expected) to use just enough force to get yourself out of the situation... like driving away.. which the SUV guy did.

Someone hitting your closed window with a fist is not a pass to get out and drop them with your Glock. That's not how self defense laws work.

That's at least how they work 90% of the time in the USA. There is no such thing as SD laws in Canada, really. This has been debated to death in the US.

You have to use equal amounts of force and just enough to get you out of harm. Anymore and it's assault.

Was at Summit Tools in Burnaby

Looks like the gti and the caravan are employee cars.

Taco pulled out without looking. Tundra couldn't stop in time. Swerved. Avoided oncoming, and smashed into the caravan, while clipping the gti

Would be funny if someone else (Audi passenger?) jumped into the Charger and drove off!

In summary, drive away and wipe the smudge from your window or tell your story to the judge and police after they try to charge you with assault and the other guy sues you. Is all that really worth it? It's not fair, but that's pretty much how it will all go down.

Completely agree! As soon as I'm clear of the divider (and the dotted line appears) I'm out of that lane. Besides I eventually turn right to go into Poco anyway, might as well get it out of the way

Wish I had a dash cam today... Was going over the bridge heading towards Arthur Lang (from the richmond side).. was driving behind a boosted / lowered black RSX with bronze wheels, garage five stickers and a red spoon sticker on the windshield. Asian guy decided to show off and try to take the turn pretty fast (the loop going underneath the road heading towards the airport), ended up doing a 180. Luckily no cars waiting for the light around the corner

That licence plate holder is lame as fuck, and I've actually seen him driving like a cunt as well, but the one I saw today for sure had a different plate number. 90% sure it was an fr-s though.
