im not sure, it seems like the truck JUST got into the intersection right when the light changed red - ran a really late yellow it seems. whereas the blue car just went for it without making sure the intersection was cleared.

anyways, I'm going to send in the video to icbc and see how it goes.

Seems like the red truck had ample time to judge whether or not to stop for the yellow which means they'll take this into consideration and it'll likely be 100% the trucks fault

Sucks when shit like that happens, it depreciates the value of your vehicle heavily and its a waste of your time dealing with it.

One of my family members had their Mercedes in the shop for a full month after quite a severe rear ender, and in return she got to drive around in a corolla.

Not only did she not get to drive her almost new car for a month, it also was immediately worth about $5000 less because of the $10000 worth of damage from some idiot trying to text while driving on the highway.

Traffic was nuts yesterday. I was stuck going to Surrey via 99 for a good hour and a half because traffic was backed up all the way to Richmond. And when I thought it wouldn't get any worst I witnessed a accident. The driver in front me dozed off and got into a rear ender which probably backed up traffic even more.

Traffic yesterday was a shit show.

Started the day off with a 15 minute drive in Richmond, had to lay on the horn 4 times. (Will be in my next video)

Then tried to go to Surrey from Hwy 99. Traffic backed back so far, I decided to make a u-turn and take the 91 instead. Wasn't much better, took nearly an hour to cross the Alex Fraser.

Went from Surrey to Burnaby after that, and had to lay on the horn another two times cuz of 2 dumb drivers. Went downtown after having Wings and driving was a shit show all night.

Witnessed 3 accidents' aftermaths in total.

Thank god I took Oak back instead of Knight...

God damn.

nope wont happen because the blue car made an unsafe left turn even if the van ran a red light. at most icbc will give the van a ticket for running a red. as a driver ur suppose to make sure the intersection is clear n safe before making the left turn

Know that feel. Bought my Civic in 2010 for $8500... 3 zero-fault accidents later:

1) Lady was on her phone while backing out of her garage and hit me as I was driving in the alley

2) Got rear ended by a texter who thought the light turned green (it was still red) due to the "glare from the sun"... which is yellow...

3) Fat bastard was eating a Big Mac while driving, didn't look into his mirror when changing lanes and literally drove right into the side of my car

... needless to say, I'll be lucky to get half of what I paid when I put her up for sale this summer. And all my friends wonder why I work full-time and still haven't (and likely won't) buy a new car

I thought that left turn was usually at fault? It doesn't really matter if the dude ran a red, the driver failed to make sure the intersection was clear before turning left. I think it's 50/50 at best.. Sucks though

the intersection was technically "clear" when she started turning at which she had right of way on the red, that is until the red truck entered the intersection on the red light.

Parked my car in a really tight spot @ Crystal Mall today.

Then this happened...

Excuse the shaky camera, I was trying to make sure that he didn't scratch my car.
