McDonald's Fail #1 - Hazelbridge and Alderbridge

u can see a corolla pulling OUT of the drive through enterance, and if u look closely, u can spot the L and N sign on the hood, so yes this was a driving instructors cars, where the instructor taught the student to exit through the entrance...

McDonald's Fail #2 - No 3 and Gen Currie

a dumbass in a white benz c class blasts out the wrong way from the parking lot, luckily i spotted the headlights and figured something was wrong n slowed down, else i wouldve taken the corner and met him head on

Two nights ago I almost got into an accident (if it were to happen, multi car pile up would occur). I was traveling south bound on oak after working that night. Before I hit the intersection of Park Dr and Oak St, I saw a black suv turn out and stick to the far right lane. When I was going through the intersection when a white E 350 couple flies out of Park dr without stopping/ to check if cars were coming. Causing myself and the 4x4 to slam on our brakes as I held the horn.

When I caught up to her in Richmond, she had no remorse of what she could of caused. Not a single fuck given.

hard to see but it seems the pedestrian wasn't in the crosswalk. It looks like she was stepping into the street at a angle.

She was standing on the corner, the onus is on the driver to be aware of any possible pedestrians. It was obvious when it happened he didn't bother to shoulder check and was only focused on the cars turning left from the other side.

I just like to call the towers at work for that!
You don't need to be physically disabled/challenged to get that parking permit. My mother recently survived a brain hemorrhage and after months of rehab she's back home, but her vision is messed up (crossed/double-vision) and is at high risk of blood pressure going up. So the doctors recommended her to get the permit to limit unnecessary walking distances. We sometimes hold her around the arm to walk if she feels uncomfortable/dizzy from the vision, but otherwise you couldn't tell she's "handicapped" in any way.

People at SPARC (authority that issues the permit) actually told us stolen permits is a big problem. People do steal them and use them to take advantage of the parking. True permit holders carry a piece of wallet size ID with them that shows they are the owner of the permit though. If they don't, you know they're fake/stolen. So if you are suspicious, call on the appropriate authorities to check on the owner's ID.

I realize there are probably some people taking advantage of the system, but don't blindly rage on people parking at those spots just because they aren't physically disabled... they could be suffering other challenges or forms of disability.

Two middle aged middle eastern/indian women can't decide where they're going and deciding to stop in the middle of a road where speeds normally hit around 90 km/h...

You can hear the pickup honk and have to swerve to avoid their dumb asses.

Watch the whole video for the double fail...

I got one as well when I dropped under 80 lbs due to illness when I was in high school. Had very little strength/stamina as a result, but I wasn't in a wheelchair or anything.

Driving along Minoru in Richmond yesterday.

Lady in a Range Rover blocking part of the right lane while she was on the cell phone. The driver behind me gave her a finger as he drove by as well.

*disregard the date on the video, it wasn't set up right*

Apparently 20% of BC residents have mobility issues!!
Disabled rights activist urges drivers not to judge those who use designated parking spaces | News1130

Don’t judge those who use designated disabled parking spaces: activist
1 out of 5 people in BC has some sort of health or mobility limitation

News957 and Brock Hunter June 29, 2014 10:40 am

A disabled rights activist is urging drivers to look before they leap when it comes to judging those in the special spaces.

Co-founder of Reachability Tova Sherman says she has a problem with drivers who challenge people that park, with a pass, in disabled spots who may not “look” disabled that day. “I personally don’t believe that I have enough information to walk up to a person who is using that spot and say hey wait a minute and challenge their disability.”

Sherman says most of the abuse comes from family members that leave the pass in the window of the car in order to get the prime parking spot at the store or mall. “Often people will still leave that up and maybe use the spot, not doing that with any malice of any sort but rather the convenience just overruns the good judgement.”

1 out of 5 people in BC has some sort of health or mobility limitation.
