Just had white range rover tailgate the fuck out of everyone already going 80ish on blundell

I hope you had fun when I brake checked you
I know what I did was a bitch move but if you deserve worse
Had a pretty good laugh when you realized there were parked cars all over the street and you almost crashed in to them (and almost me too when you changed lanes)

If the Mazda 5 really crash into either of the left turning cars, the video won't help much. ICBC will say the left turning cars have to make sure the road is clear before turning and the Mazda 5 runs a late yellow. ICBC will be happy having both parties taking responsibilites so their insurance premium will increase for a few years.

Don't take it too serious. It's just video posting on the Internet for entertainment.

Mazda 5, should considered ran the red light. At the moment, his car passes the pedestrian line, it turned red. Thus, he/she has miscalculated how long the yellow light will stay for.

What was dangerous wasn't the black SUV, he was already almost well turned while the Mazda 5 still going. The danger was the car behind the SUV, judging from the SUV was turning, meaning the oncoming car is almost or already coming to stop. Thus the car behind the black SUV will follow really close. In this case, the Mazda 5 had to fast brake.

If the Mazda 5 were to hit the second turning car, who's fault will it be?

Its not like the second car can see if there is on coming car because the black SUV is blocking it.

He is pretty much just doing what other people would have done, follow the black SUV closely knowing that the light will be red in less than 1 sec and is safe to go because SUV is turning meaning on coming car must have stopped also he was already beyond the pedestrian line so he had no choice but to turn.

I guess without video proof, no luck for the 2nd car.

I see it the same way but some people are more sensitive than others when it comes to these things.

^ It should be the camera angle, it's a lot different in person sitting in the drivers seat. Someone with a dashboard camera would see there isn't as much space as you think there is.

It's the wide angle lens, it makes everything look farther away than it actually is. That ML was probably around a meter and a half off.

the first one happens to me all the time. "merging with the flow"... seems to be a trait on the road nowadays. only thing was that the driver didnt bother to signal, sort of like walking in front of you expecting you to slow down. although im sure you could have seen it coming, seeing as the truck in front did the same thing.

If the gap clearly isn't big enough/no gap at all very few drivers will take the risk/force themselves in and if there is a huge gap then there is no awkwardness, but leaving a "grey area" sized gap will make it uncomfortable for both parties.

as you can see in the vid I was following the driver in front normally and that truck came in from far right lane and accelerated hard to get in to hov

Yeah, in that instance it is tough to make that decision to let him in or not as they are coming up from behind quickly and cut right in. Happens to me often on my morning commute on Arthur Laing Bridge in the right lane exit onto Granville, drivers coming up quickly on the left and cutting in out of nowhere to get to the exit.

It would be easy to read the driver's 'body language' if they were in the other lane in front of you for a few second before deciding to squeeze in.
