I updated my original post. I found the Facebook link to it. It's public so anyone can see.

I'll just post it here as well just in case.

Too high rate of speed plus improper load, I'm thinking.

^ I think that was from Winter. The trees in the distance have no leaves on them.

If there was security footage of this, I'd love to see it

This car turned its left turn blinker on right after the previous intersection. When the light turned yellow, she started easing forward, past the stop line ._. I thought she was going to try to turn into the wall or something; ended up going forwards and turning on 70th

Same day, I was on 41st between the Boulevards going west, some guy was trying to turn left from the middle lane on a green light (there is a left turn lane he completely ignored)
Was pretty funny 'cause he was stopped in the middle lane, slowly edging out with his blinkers on waiting for a gap while cars behind him were laying it on the horn. Seemed like he knew what he was doing but just didn't give any shits holding up traffic for an entire green light.

A friends’ sister is in critical condition after a hit and run incident this morning. I know a lot of people will see this so keep an eye out for the car and help find this person!

Young woman badly injured in hit and run | CTV Vancouver News

"At this stage the vehicle is described as a newer black Honda Civic," said Sgt. Jack Sullivan. "It is believed to have extensive front-end damage as a result of this collision.”

"Police are asking anyone with information to give them at (604) 873-7000."

I am acquainted with the person hit, not close but we share many friends, and from what I've read on FB she's in pretty rough shape. Tragic accident, she is very bright with a very promising future. Hoping she pulls through.

That's a dangerous stretch of road late night. Always drivers speeding and people jaywalking (not saying victim was jaywalking).

I wish I had my dashcam set up today for my run to Seattle and back. So many left lane hoggers, especially self righteous Prius driving assholes. One guy pointed at a 60MPH speed limit (I'm going around 140KPH so you do the math) and refused to move over. I gave him the finger and pointed to the right lane before passing him in the slow lane.

Lol you were going almost 50 km/h over the limit. I mean its not his job to police you, but I can see being a bit cunty about it.

that's what i don't get ... if someone is driving fast and pissing you off, move the fuck over and I guarantee in about a minute you won't be able to see him anymore / he won't be relevant to you anymore

How fast I'm going is irrelevant. I'm going faster than him so he needs to move the fuck over.

Plus I'm only about 20kmh faster than most.

I'm not saying it was right, but lots of people like confrontation. On top of that americans are already mad at Canadians for taking up too many costco parking spots. I'm sure it was relevant to his reaction.

^ doesn't matter if he want to do 50km/h over the speed limit or 200km/h over the speed limit its his choice he's putting his own life at risk and he gets caught he will face the consequences. Left lane hoggers should just move over to the right and not aggravate the people that want to pass. In my opinion its way more dangerous to aggravate drivers than to simply let them pass...

Wow i think thats the first time i ever disagreed with Westopher lol

BC plates. He's just a Prius driver, which is synonymous with "dickface".

Truck drivers usually don't move either. Probably because they can't fathom their super powerful F150 not being the fastest thing ever. BECAUSE TRUCK AND MURICA! People in pickups always drive like they think they're intimidating.

So going faster 20km/h than most makes it ok to speed? Speed limit is there for a reason.

Westopher is just saying what the guy's mindset probably was. I wouldn't doubt it. Self righteous left lane hoggers usually think they're right because they're preventing you from speeding.

I spent a lot of my time looking out for patrols. I would've just fought the ticket later. I just wanted the beat the crowd to the border. 27 minute wait on a long weekend FTW.

Look. We all do things that aren't okay. I know what speed I can do for the conditions safely. I've been driving for 14 years and none of them were at the speed limit. I've never been in an accident where I was at fault and the ones I was in were rear enders at stops.

Its rather universally accepted that speed limits everywhere are low and just there to fund the police department. I'm not here to tell you speeding is fine and dandy but I'm not exactly out there street racing. If 20kmh more is wrong, I choose to be wrong and home now rather than right and still somewhere outside Bellingham, which is probably where the line is.
