Didn't think I'd be posting another one so soon...

I was actually anticipating for him to turn left, but instead the guy actually wanted to go straight... Mind you when I checked the GPS data from my dashcam, it indicated my speed at 50-55 km/h. Had to brake hard enough to activate the ABS and my hazards, since I coded for my hazards to go off if I brake hard enough.

Cool that you knew there was a speed trap but stay in the right lane especially when the right lane had no traffic. Keep the left lane open for passing which this driver was trying to do but couldn't because you wouldn't move.

Highway or not, it's common curiosity to move over, let the person behind you pass and not sit in the left lane.

Keep right to pass works well on highways, but drivers sometimes need to hold the left lane for an upcoming left turn in the city

Actually, it is a highway. Every road in BC is considered a "highway".

From the BC MVA:
Quote:
"highway" includes

(a) every highway within the meaning of the Transportation Act,
(b) every road, street, lane or right of way designed or intended for or used by the general public for the passage of vehicles, and
(c) every private place or passageway to which the public, for the purpose of the parking or servicing of vehicles, has access or is invited,
but does not include an industrial road

Called the city for the first time last week to complain about a car being parked less than in inch away from mine. Can't do anything unless they see it park there. If you work at the Audi Service Downtown Vancouver stop parking like douches

I was walking down Pine a few days ago and noticed that all the cars were within an inch of each other front to back, guessing it was all the techs at Audi. Hopefully you were parked at either of the end spots and not in the middle lol

LOL

GF was at TnT and told me she saw 2 c-lais back up into each other, each from spots on the left and the right. Both had their heads turned, and proceeded to back up at a slow pace into each others bumpers straight on.

Cars on both side, not one honked.

Asians.

Taxi driving down right lane with parked cars. Tried to merge in without shoulder checking and almost knocks me off my bike. About 6" from my rear tire.

curious, when you revved your engine, did you actually sped up and he barely missed you, or he heard you and slowed down his lane change?

sounded like you clutched and revved and didn't speed up and the guy just barely missed you.

No dash cam (sorry)

Almost got T-boned coming home from watching the game at my brother's. Dodge Caravan blew through a stop sign. Followed him/her, driver was all over the road, couldn't stay in a lane.

Ended up pulling over and calling 9-1-1 to report it as a suspected impaired driver.

Hope the cops picked him/her up before someone got hurt.
