One of those times I wish I had a rear camera... Had a ditz driving behind me in a red Civic along Kingsway today. All of the following applied:
1) incredibly low lounge seat position
2) small fuckwit dog right on her lap who was constantly trying to jump out of the window, who she had to hold with one hand
3) a massive cellphone that she was either literally waving around her head with the other hand or holding up to her ear with a shoulder
She eventually decided she got bored with her dog so she passed it to her friend. The cellphone, however, remained in use.

I just kinda wanted people in this thread to see this video. It's a prank on a guy who flipped someone off in traffic. Remember to be mindful of your manners on the road. You never know when you're messing with the wrong mother yukker:
2:38 - That's a pedestrian controlled crossing. You're actually allowed to go through the red once the crosswalk has cleared.
Hmm. Not sure but because there is a side street to the right, I don't think you should do that here.
I usually restrict that move to strictly crosswalks that are mid block because so few people understand the rule, I bet most cops would be caught off guard by it as well.
I actually have a print out in my car that explains the rule and has the sections on it, in case I get pulled over, because I use this rule at two different crosswalks on my route to and from work every morning.
I'll post it tomorrow.
PS. I've yet to have to use it, and who knows if I ever get pulled over depending on the officer I might just take the ticket and dispute it, but I have the paper anyway just in case I feel the officer is being reasonable.
