That intersection has always been a pain in the ass. They have a stop light for the right turn because the opposite direction has an advanced green for the left turn lane. Also for pedestrians and because there's a railway crossing on the right that runs parallel with the road. Whenever a train comes by, it's absolute chaos.

Cars involved in a crash, today July 10 (please don't mind the blur on the bottom right corner, have to clean the lens):

The front end of the Ford Fusion was damaged pretty badly.

There's a light in Kelowna with a similar setup but the light for the right turn is mounted down on the pole so it's a bit more obvious. That said there's always some morons who don't realize it's right turn only despite everything and hold up traffic to force themselves into the left lane, I think there were two of them in the vid I posted earlier.

Atleast he's using his truck for what its meant to do although not in the most conventional way. I see way to many soccer moms in Maple Ridge drive shiny lifted F350's to go grocery shopping...WHY do you need an F350 to haul around kitty litter and a stroller. It took you 15 minutes to park the fucking thing.

Man, I need a new dashcam. The one I was given to review broke (as I predicted it would) and my old Blackvue stopped working.

Almost got into an accident yesterday after work. Was bombing down in the right lane, coming up to an older truck moving pretty slow in the left lane. Almost passed him when he suddenly veered right to enter a parking lot. Some how managed to lock up my fully functioning ABS and missed hitting the rear quarter of his bed by maybe half a dozen inches. Even leaning on the horn for a good 10 seconds the driver didn't even seem to notice or perhaps dgf. Fuck. Just when I thought I was safe living in the Interior and not having to deal with Richmond/Vancouver drivers, I get proved wrong.

I'm okay with this. As long as he doesn't hit anyone, he's only hurting the curb. At least he isn't one of those idiots that drives a massive SUV that has to stop to crawl over speed bumps.

Not a shitty driver but was driving up Mt. Rainier earlier today with some family, uncle smoked a deer going up. Luckily, it was a rental car and it only caught the right front of the car so he was able to drive home.

Spoiler!

But that's the way that curbs engineered though, no yellow or red markings

That ford transit behind him is protruding further, mazdas going with the road

I didn't know that wasn't allowed

IDK, but i dont think anyone should just shove the front end of their car into a spot. Yes, the car is parked along the curb, but it is not parked like all the other vehicles.

What does everyone else think?

Without seeing the lay of the land, I'd say there's no signage that says they can't park there and it's close enough to the curb. Might be a dumb spot but not illegal.
