So glad I have a dash cam in case something like this happen to me.
sure if the guy hits you, its 100% his fault for not shoulder checking and lane changing into you.
However, you should not be driving in people's blind spot- could've avoided the whole situation in the first place.

I love my Blackvue, so I would recommend that brand.

I saw on redflagdeals this one for $169.99

BlackVue 1-Channel Full HD 1080p Dashcam with SD Card & Protection Switch : Dash Cameras - Best Buy Canada

Negatives though are no GPS and would have to install yourself.

nice! suppa just recommended me to a blackvue as well. do you regret not getting the GPS version?
i was looking into the KDlinks x1.

did you hard wire it or did you do it the lazy way?

Well I have a chevy as well and actually have two cigarette lighters so I don't have an issue with real estate in regards to areas to plug it in. My car will also supply power once it is turned off so I once again I don't have to worry about that...so to answer your question I was lazy and didn't hard wire.

To answer your edit post... I have the BlackVue DR400G-HD so I have GPS on mine

33rd and Naniamo SB brings my piss to a boil.

Cyclist should've used the bike route on Gladstone St; it's only a block or two away.

Ugh, the pic where it seems to be crying really hit me that she didn't mean it, and all the "racial, stereotypical hate" people are posting online, but seriously, ICBC should consider putting in something to try and take away these senior drivers, or re-test them to make sure they're still safe on the road.

Tanker flipped into the ditch on hwy. 1 westbound this morning, right before 232. Backup started BEFORE 264, where I exited. Had to contend with a dozen or more vehicles coming back up the onramp and then trying to squeeze in with those of us who were smart enough to exit first, while dodging those trying to go down the onramp properly.

There's a point when it stops being racist and starts just being true. No, not all Chinese people are terrible drivers but you can't look at Richmond and tell me that a significant portion of Chinese people should not be on the road.

But yeah, that's probably someone's grandma that went through the shock of her life. Who...means it when they get into a car accident unless they're a psycho?
