and BOOM! truck timed the front car turning left and smoked it.
It was a clear cut the trucks is at fault but i left my number to the car that got hit just in case he needs a witness
That's not the case. if the car doesn't have a witness, it will be the cars fault.

The truck can say he is going straight and the car was turning left on the right lane. ICBC will take that story instead of believing the truck is travelling in the oncoming lane.

This is what happen to my cousin. She was doing a left turn and got hit by a car from the back travelling in the oncoming lane. Guy gets off the car and said sorry and it wasn't his fault. My cousin believes him and didn't get a witness. Later on guy changes his story and now my cousin is 100% at fault.

if budgets not a problem get a blackvue front or front n back cam, if budgets a problem then get that G1W something for cheap. Hear the quality is pretty decent for the price.

I recently got the A118C from GearBest. Good quality, right in your budget and is a much sleeker profile than some other ones.

My G1W last 6 months before it stopped working. The Amazon seller refused to do anything about it. Would not buy again

Yup, that's the one. I've had it for a few months and love it.

Btw, I have a $10 code I can send you if you order from blackboxmycar.com.

Is it worth it to get the hard wire kit off the site or should I buy it separate? Also wondering if I should go with the G6 or G1?

DIY, dont have to buy the hardwire kits if its a cheap camera ur getting. open up the cig plug, make sure theres no inverter in it. if its just 2 wires, then connect the positive to a constant power source, re direct to battery, and the negative to anything metal that u can ground it. make sure u add a fuse to the positive wire as well. now ur camera will run directly off the battery and be on 24/7

You can get a Blackvue w/ PMP for around $200 if you can go over a bit, their quality's proven IMO. There's a few of us still running the DR400G from the original 2012 group buy.

For those Chinese cams charged by USB usually they're running on 5V rather than 12V. What I ended up doing on my GF'S car was getting one of these (EBAY)

I would personally go with the G6 just cause it's so much more discreet.

Oh wow even if the damage would be on the other side of the car. I would think if the driver lies about hit the icbc investigation would contradict him being the hit will be the opposite of the car!
Good thing i left my number so there is no chance for the other party to lie
