He looked at the scratches and claimed that they were on the car before he backed into me. I then told him that my car was completely repainted back in May but I didn't feel like arguing with him so I sent the footage to ICBC. The adjuster liked the video

That's a really good example why 2-way alarm is the only alarm worth investing in. The pedestrian on the right hears the alarm, turns back to look for a second, but continues on his way.

For some reason I thought to back up since I don't have rear cam. So I backed up so my dash cam can capture something IN CASE the idiot really hit me.

He had no right of way backing out from a parking spot yeah....

I had to drive my wife to Vancouver yesterday. I never realized how bad the traffic has gotten, after the bridge. This video is for all you law-abiding commuters that can only grimace as you see a single-occupant flying by in the HOV lane:

Today heading home from work. Guy not only turned right from the left lane but turned right when there's a sign saying not to on a red light.

Saw another accident on the way home from work today. Older Asian man in a Lexus sic turning left on the light changing and an younger Asian guy going straight and in slow motion the younger guy tried to go around and the Lexus clipped him on the front driver side bumper and the side.

I know the guy Turing right shouldn't of done so when he did but the kid had more then enough time to stop and didnt hit the breaks at all. I think I'm going to tell ICBC I think it's 50/50

I need to pick out a dash cam soon dammit

I drove my girlfriends car for the first time in a while yesterday and nearly got sideswiped by two different impatient knobs that passed me illegally and then cut me off. Her car has a dash cam, but of course the SD card fried and doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions for a card that can handle the hot and cold of a car?

My sandisk has been working since late 2013. I leave my dashcam sitting in the direct sun and in the cold and it still works.

Last summer, it got hot enough to melt my suction mount and the SD card was fine.

Fucking hell man you've been asking for dashcam recommendations for over a month lol.

You're buying a $300 electronic item, not a damn house.

That said, that looks like a solid deal. I may even get one for my parents lol
