Jewelry store for the woman

hey,

Hopefully i'm posting in the right section as I see other topics here asking about non automotive things in the seattle area.

So its my gf's birthday soon and i'm looking into buying her some necklace with our names in graved in it. But i had no clue where to start... I live in vancouver but i'm willing to drive down to seattle area, but hoping for some pointers around the bellingham area so I don't need to drive out too far.
I'm pretty noob about jewelry stuff so I need some directions on where to go, which stores? sales? this better than this.. Anything goes

Any other idea's as presents works too, i'm just trying to keep my options open.

Thanks, ken

my friend got hers engraved at Sears in Richmond and they did a pretty decent job.
She bought her bracelet saparately from another store from like one of those kiosks in Richmond centre but sears sells it too (kinda shitth though)

But coming from a girl, (i know you want things to be special with engravings and all but....)whether it's engraved or not nothing beats bracelet/necklace from Tiffany's.

Well, there are lots of jewerlry stores in Metrotown, Richmond ceter, Oakridge mall
How much roughly do u plan or willing to spend?
U could choose either silver or white gold, & then send to do engraving. BTW, they charge roughlt $3/letter inside metrotown mall.
Good luck
