| Question regarding shipping a vehicle from the USA to Canada.
Hi
I know it may sound like a dumb question but I've tried google and had no luck as well as using the "search" function on the forums.
I'm planning to have a vehicle shipped from the USA (New Jersey) to Vancouver through a shipping company with the use of an auto container. I've read the "How to import your car from the USA" thread and I was still wondering how the process would work, considering the car would already be located in the docking bay of Vancouver.
My question is, would the car be inspected at the docking bay or would the vehicle have to be moved to the border? Does the process of importing the vehicle change because of such variable? If anyone had some insight it would help greatly!
I've messaged the shipping company and they haven't replied yet. If there is someone who has done this before or has knowledge in the process please let me know!
