The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Narcotics officers will be working both areas and enforcing all drug related laws. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found inebriated at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy three nights of music, dancing, and the full festival experience of Electric Daisy Carnival.

Ticket
The 3 Day GA Pass tickets will be scanned onto a ticket card (a card with a magnetic strip), which you'll need to bring each day to get in. The three-day VIP ticket will also be loaded onto a ticket card, but upon entry you will be presented with a wristband that will facilitate access to the VIP area. The VIP wristband will be different on each day, so you'll still need the card each day to get the new wristband.

What if I purchased a 3 day pass and can't make it to one of the days?
The Ticket Card is transferable once you have it. Keep in mind that a 3 Day Pass is one Ticket Card that will have all 3 tickets loaded onto it.

FOOD/Beverage
Food and beverage stands are located throughout the event, with roaming vendors carrying water, snacks, and other beverages. Cash and credit accepted. Free water refill stations will be marked on the venue map

Alcohol
Bars serving beer and liquor are located throughout the festival for those 21 years of age and older. Alcohol will be served from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. daily

Parking
Multiple parking lots surrounding the event will be available to you free of charge.
Tailgating is not allowed in any areas around the venue.
Camping or sleeping in cars in parking lots is not permitted for anyone. Please do not drive off the property and park your car to sleep somewhere else. It is very hot in Las Vegas, especially when the sun is out, so sleeping in a car will pose a serious health threat.
Any vehicles left in the lot between the hours of 10:00am through 4:00pm will be towed.

I'm planning to attend EDC next year because I missed out this year. Apaprently you can get a VIP ticket where you parachute into the party or something?

Pool parties are pretty awesome and will be a good day time event but considering it's a lot of peoples first time in Vegas you may choose to do other stuff too unless all you intend to do is party of course.

Just some random suggestions off the the top of my head based on the many times I've been to Vegas.

Gun Store - Always a favorite for guys and some girls. All you have to is go in, sign your name, and start picking guns. Pistols, SMG's, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns, they have quite a lot of choices and it doesn't need to be expensive if you can control yourself.

Watch a Show - Cirque du Soleil is always one of the most popular with "O" being the most watched one. There are a bunch of other shows of course such as Magic Shows, Comedy etc

Buffets - What's Vegas without hitting up buffets lol. Bellagio is my personal favorite but there are others that are solid. Spicy Market at Planet Hollywood is decent among others. If you prefer seafood the Seafood buffet at Rio seems to be pretty popular as well.

Shopping - Sure why not I guess for the girls? There's a Premium Outlet that's about a 10 min, $15 taxi ride away. There's the Fashion Mall on the Strip as well that's pretty big.

Clubbing - If your at EDC on all your nights then this isn't an option but otherwise you may consider. With a group the best way to go is get a table and do bottle service, doesn't work out to be that much per person vs if you had to line up pay cover and go in and order drinks on your own.

Strip Club - Maybe only for the guys but some girls are pretty open to going. There's a few good places in Vegas

Take in the sights - You could hit the Grand Canyon on a day tour or just take in the sights on the Strip.

Free Nightly Shows - Some hotels have a quick nightly show outside their hotel that's free. Treasure Island for example has 2 ships in the front of their hotel and they stage a whole fight between 2 crews. There are other hotels with such shows as well.

Rollercoaster - New York New York has a decent coaster you can ride, you can buy for 1 ride or unlimited I think. There are a couple other hotels that have rides too.

SkyBar or Voodoo Lounge - These 2 bars are located on the roof of a hotel, one at Rio and the other at Palms. Pretty cool cause your outdoors and you over look the Strip.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as there are so many other things you can do. Be safe and have fun!

Yep every limo driver can hook you up with anything you want. Take a limo when you leave the airport and you can pick up on the way to your hotel.

jimzilla 11-04-2011 12:40 PM

Dang, you got tickets?

This "early" batch was sold out in like half a day of release. Arg gotta wait till January now when another batch goes on sale

TheKingdom2000 11-04-2011 12:44 PM

Good tip about the limo thing.
Thanks.

Yeah, my friends told us just to buy them. Because waiting isn't a good idea. I got them the day they were released sometime in the afternoon. So it wasn't like they sold out right away or anything.

Apparently they're going to be more expensive now? (the new ones they release)

I assume you're flying out of YVR?

We are flying out of BLI (bellingham)
This is what we've found so far...

June 7-12 (These prices include hotel+flight)
Aria Hotel $471
Vdara - $465
Wynn - $526

penner2k 11-04-2011 01:32 PM

Thats really cheap for the hotel.
My buddy is working at getting us a 1500 sq/ft suite for $200 a night. Gonna be there for 6 days.

I could see the drive down there being good. The trip back after 3+ nights of partying would suck..

dr.funk 11-04-2011 04:09 PM

i was driving back with my group and it was not fun still mangled the first night driving back was brutal. none the less EDC 2011 was amazing just mind blowing

penner2k 11-04-2011 04:15 PM

Me and my buddy have our bdays on June 11th. Decided just the 2 of us are gonna go. Last couple years bdays have sorta sucked cuz everyone doesnt want to do the same thing. Figured if its just the two of us we do whatever the fuck we want.

TheKingdom2000 11-04-2011 05:41 PM

Just an update guys;

We booked our flights and hotel tonight.
$471 USD including taxes and everything

Flying out of Bellingham
June 7-12
Hotel - Aria Resort and casino
Used priceline.com
As well as got 2.2% cashback from GCR.

Pretty good deal we think.
Can't wait!!

Also, I heard there will be a shuttle for $60 each for the 3 days. There isn't much info on it yet.

based on three people per room. We got two rooms. (Though, you can book only one room with three people and get that price)
But, it should be a little cheaper because two more people are coming with and we'll just split the hotel room cost a bit more since they'll be getting their own flight down.

edit; Ok, so I just found out that Aria, we couldn't get 2 queens with them so we had to book with vdara instead. Price was $3 cheaper with vdara
