Jacky Cheung @ Rogers Arena

With Eason Chan and Jay Chou having performed this past year and Sammi coming as well it was a pretty good sign as not a lot of top performers have come for a while. Well this kind of flew under the radar a little bit as most people I've talked to, even Hongers didn't know Jacky Cheung was coming. Well he is and tickets came out today.

It's his Half Century Tour and really he hasn't come in forever and this will probably be the only chance you will see him ever again unless you go to Asia.

Tickets | Open Road Audi Pres. Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Live in Vancouver 2012 - Vancouver BC at Ticketmaster

Yea same starting price as Sammi and Jay Chou

Funny though I did a search out of curiosity for the $400 and $300 + tickets and no results lol. I guess people are going all out for him.

I just heard about this!!! saw it advertised on fairchildtv and went nuts!

I dont think he's ever come to Vancouver (just Toronto and Vegas)

anyway i searched for tickets Floor row C x2 WOOOT $457.05x2 + fees and delivery (hoping to get actual tickets so i can give 1 as a present for xmas) came to $934 (thank goodness for Amex Rewards Points )

I had to search on the Floor specifically if i just searched for best seats it gave me a pair behind the stage

Last time he was in Vancouver was like 1999 or something like that.

But almost yearly, he is in Vegas and Atlantic City.

I didn't get floor seats but I am in section 105 row 3. I can almost see the zits on his face.

Damn you balled it out yo haha

Like I said, it wasn't even until after tickets came out that I started seeing ads. I already knew about this a year ago and when tickets came on sale lots of people still had no idea. Doesn't really matter anymore anyways the shows gonna be crazy. 106 Row 6 over here holla

A LOT of people opened up their wallets for Jacky
He covers literally 3 generations of fans. I know many people that are going with family

this world tour could very well be Jacky's last

Im sure fans have al seen the concert footage and all. The man can sing.

Edit: Anyone know if buying hard-copy tickets on craigslist is safe?

i dont know but im assuming its the 2nd row /shrug

yeah being "backstage" im wondering if his concert is going to be like the HK concerts where the performers will be doing a 360

as for sitting in the 100s close to the stage after being to quite a few concerts it seems like sitting there is just as good as anywhere sometimes better (like @ the britney concert since being up front you get blocked by cameramen/lights/bouncers and those plush seats they had for "vip" tickets)

you get a better view

Oh nice, thanks for the insight!

I was just browsing around Macau and they're having Jacky Cheung 1/2 century tour at the end of December and for Section A(most expensive) is $220 CAD and section B(2nd most expensive) is $130 and currently sold out lol..feel so ripped off LOL

In vegas they usually do shows around chinese new year because thats when all the gamblers like to go. When they go, the tickets are paid for, and they get the VIP seats. The rip off prices are only for the people who drive up/fly in from LA or San Fran to watch it.
