No 5 Road

Now that the cop shop has moved to no 5 and Steveston Highway there are regular speed traps, seat belt traps, and under cover cops all around the area now. Been pulled over 3 times in two weeks now. So watch out

So what you're saying, is that there is an increased police presence within close proximity of a police precinct?

You I know that it's also said that there is an increased chance of seeing firefighters and fire trucks if there is a fire station nearby. This may be just an urban legend, but snopes says it may very well be true. They say the likelyhood also increases if you smell BBQ smoke as well.

A lot of people I've talked to don't seem to know that it has moved there.

if you've been pulled over 3 times in 2 weeks, you're doing something wrong.

Also watch out for Westminster highway between no.6 road and no.9 Road. There are speed traps along the farm areas and sometimes right on the highway. It's hard to stop them sometimes too since they're kind of hidden... On thursday morning last week I saw at least 20+ people get pulled within a two hour time frame Some people looked like they were barely going 70 too, it's easy to go a bit faster on that road since it feels like your on the highway already

where at no5 and steveston? I dont remember a building big enough to accommodate the Richmond RCMP in that area...

Oh nvm: I was picturing no 4 rd.

and yes, I know the building. When I worked at EX0TIC SPEED, in that area, i noticed alot of strange vehicles coming in and out of there... from what I was told, that was the hidden Security building for 2010 Olympics. Kinda obvious too, the place looked like fort knox over the past year before Olympics, then in March 2010, it was stripped of all security, and everyone vanished.

The reason so many cops are on that stretch of road is because they lowered the speed limit from 60 to 50. People regularly travel at 80 down that stretch

The big question is, what's the proximity of the new cop shop to the nearest Tim Hortons?

As a comedian once said: "If caffeine makes you jumpy, and sugar makes you hyper... then WHY DO THEY LET COPS TAKE COFFEE BREAKS AT DONUT SHOPS??"
