Need help. Got in to an accident

Edit:
Here how it happened.
Me and my gf was at metro. We decided to got to Walmart.
On the way to Walmart, I decided to take smith ave all the way down Canada way.
When I got to Canada way and smith it was a red light, so I stopped and waited for the light to turn green.
When my traffic light turned green I turned left. As I was turning left, a vw was coming out of the 7/11 parking lot,
Going in my lane(left lane). I didn't noticed him coz of the other cars. After the accident. We pulls up a parking lot and
Exchanged Infos. He didn't want me to call icbc, and offered to pay for the repair cost.

Here's my question.
Should I trust the dude and not call icbc rite now. Or call now.
What would happen if he calls icbc first and tells them it my fault?

And also my gf hips and back kinda hurts
