What bag do you use?

What bags/backpacks do you guys use to commute to work/school/going out in general?

Personally, I rock a north face hot shot and it's been good to me for a solid 3 months of everyday use.

Also, one of the main reasons I wanted to start this thread was I want to know your opinions on the chrome citizen messenger bag. Its been pretty popular recently and looks pretty durable. Some things that are holding me back are: the extravagant pricing, and the fact that it has an uneven weight distribution on the shoulders due to its one-strap design.

I use this shoulder bag, it have two straps (extra one is to keep the bag stable on your back without sliding out of your back unlike those shoulder bags)

I'm pretty much use everything, it fit my work clothes, school books, and my personal stuff as well.

but then it clearly shows the bag only having one strap. The other one doesn't go on the other shoulder does it? It would still be uneven weight distribution on the shoulders. great price though

Been using a Dakine for the past 3 years now. Been through heavy textbooks, trips, shoes and what not and still going strong. Not a single problem with it. Also decently comfortable.

I've been using a Diesel Messenger bag like the one below for almost 2 years.
DIESEL MESSENGER BAG :: 604778 :: List4All

The messenger bag itself is very light and looks really clean. It carries my school books or my 15in laptop just fine.
I'm very satisfied with it, price is relatively inexpensive.
There's a newer leather Diesel messenger bag similar to this one going for ~$300, still thinking if I should upgrade to it.
Hopefully there's a Christmas deal for it and I'll pick it up.

I haven't heard of Chrome citizen messenger bags, I'll check them out

there is one strap on the shoulder... AND there is another strap on your hip.

my regular back pack got stolen so i've been using my alpinestars bike bag but it's getting beat up from everyday use. I'm going to buy a cheap dakine before this one looks like crap

Doesn't this take a toll on your back though? Unless you're only wearing it for a short period of time, having uneven weight distribution on your spine will cause back pains...

I have been using this one for work in the past 6 months. Working great so far. Picked it up at Diesel in Portland on sale for $45.

Before the Diesel, I had this Chocoolate messenger bag that I bought in Hong Kong. It was shit. Fabric started ripping when I brought work home with me in a 3" binder.

I recently got the Dakine Campus sm. Great bag. A bit small but it's all good.
I have always wanted the Jansport Superbreak and the Northface Borealis. Anyone using them?

Also, I've been looking into getting a nice canvas messenger bag for lighter school days. Recommendations? Budget ~$50.

I've pretty much been using this at school if I only needed to bring my netbook and a notebook or a small textbook
http://www.discountgolfworld.com/con...t-comp-bag.jpg
I also use this when I go to HK

When I needed to bring a binder for school or a few textbooks, I would use this (a variant of it)

TNA and JUICY bag is pretty good for school, you can always put in all the books and papers stuff. After graduate I tend to use smaller bag from GUESS and COACH

Does anybody know how did the brand "Michael Kors" come from? I didn't get it why it is almost at the similar pricing level with Coach. Does it have better quality bags than Coach? Is it a more famous / better known brand than coach?

Because I'm thinking to get my first Michael Kors...:p
