How do you report old drivers or any driver for that matter Is there some law like in the state, you report the old person, they got notice to come in for a test, if they fail then they get their license taken away. I know some drive anyways without license but still... I almost got killed this afternoon at W 4th and Vine. Old thing in the Merc ran a solid 3 seconds red and almost t-boned me on the driver side. |
You can always report a dangerous driver, regardless of their age. |
MVB has a programme where they re-examine the DLs of drivers once they get 80 and sooner than that if they are reported. They have to do: a medical, the cognative computer test, a full road test....or a combination or a selection of any and all of these things. I spend a portion of my time re-training seniors for the road test. It's a real awakening for somebody who has been driving (without any formal training) for decades, to find that they can fail their road test even before they leave the MVB lot. Same thing goes for parents of new drivers who have trained the kids to "their standards" and find they flunk the first road test. At that stage I usually get a call for remedial training....for both parties. |
