Also, my grandma picked me up a bottle of something called SierraSil because she heard someone on the radio always talking about it. Its apparently full of minerals from the Sierra mountains that Natives have taken forever. I cant help but think its nothing other than snake oil and to be honest, it looks like the capsules are filled with dirt. but at this point Im up for anything.

The doctor told me to "take it easy and take an ibuprophen."
Add Curcumin to the mix. I don't know how you feel about Biotest, but their Curcumin is supposed to be really good... But who knows right? It is of course twice the price of other Curcumin products (but they are really cheap so it's not THAT bad)

Depends on your goals, and overall weightlifting program structure

Its around $126.00 once you sign up. That includes a $79 processing fee, $20 card fee, $21 bi-weekly payment for the first week then tax. I believe the bi-weekly payments went up to $22.50 or something. Anywho after that its $2x.xx bi-weekly, roughly $44.xx a month.
Thanks for the info, I will check it out today. Golds seems like a good gym so far. Plus the location is only a 5 min drive for me.

^ yea thats what I mean. 30 lbs from 230 is not much, but going down to low 140's is quite a bit.

I recently switched gyms and I'm not able to do pullthroughs at my new gym. I was wondering if anyone new a better alternative that's similar or maybe a different work out that would target the same area? Thanks

was just taking a look at this the other day. what is the purpose of it? its listed as a possible pre-workout supplement etc but the wording of any supplement product is always confusing as hell to me.

Consider it a sugar-free energy drink, or regular caffeinated drink. Only instead of phosphoric acid, you are getting BCAA's, taurine, and glutamine.

You can use it as a pre workout drink, but beyond the caffeine it doesn't compare well to supplements dedicated to that. But in my opinion, caffeine is the only thing those things have in them that is of any use...

Low reps heavy weights (that you can do with good form) will help you rack up strength.
Usually I do a 5x5 followed by some heavy singles for grip work.
Add a little more every week and you'll grow!

When you get more advanced you can try a 5/4/3/2/1 or very heavy singles.

dont be afraid to take a week of lighter weight higher reps and concentrate on strict form up AND down. lots of guys just throw the weight down. its significantly harder to lower it than it is to pull it.

There is no beneficial component in lowering the weight slowly for sumo/con deadlifts.

Agreed. A lot of guys just SLAM the weights, I've been always one of the few who try to make my deadlifts as silent as possible..

I dont mean slowly lower it. I mean controled lower it. Dont just let go of it. lifting works power, lowering works stability.

Is it necessary or vital to be using machines?
cuz I've just been doing DL, squats, BP all with barbell
and some dumb bells and the lat cable pull machine....
