Mirin squats Sid. How long have you been lifting, and are you normally around 165lb?

I feel like my weight has been a huge factor in my squats stalling. I've squatted at most 315x5 at 153lb...and can't seem so go heavier. Was at 315x3ish 2 months ago; strength only went up by 2 reps.

^^^Agreed Sid

I've been doing 5/3/1 for the past 3 months and I've noticed a couple things:

When i feel like pushing it, ill up the weights on the calculator, and ill come out not being able to do more the recommended reps, e.g no more than 5, 3, and 1 on the last set.

For accessory, i take advantage of the 5x10, drop the weight, and really focus on the reps.

Only takes me 45 minutes to burn out the muscle groups including warmup.

Weakens my work ethic compared to layne norton or 5x5.

Otherwise, i fucking love it. Still get decent size gain along with strength. Closing in on the 3 plate pull, video up by jan 1st!

Too bad my brain didnt turn on until I was well into my 20s. From 15-19 all I did was smoke pot and be a skinny phaggot. Barely made it to 130lbs soaking wet in grade 12. Such a waste of prime potential, and fried my brain a good bit too.

Took some jiu-jitsu classes with this guy. I think he trains kick-boxing mostly. Held my own strength wise but his god damn cardio. Will make sure to give him props on the video/progress next time I see him.

man I have to rant about this shit

I always use to help people pin because they never trusted themselves to do it.

I remember one time I hit a vessel and pulled out, the guy freaked out and went home, and almost stopped his cycle because he is such a retard. The guy was a diabetic too and I couldn't understand how someone who does this for his whole life essentially could be scared of something like this.

I dont think there is anything wrong with regret. I always hated people who said "Never regret anything you do"

fuck you, when we regret we think of ways to never make the same mistake again in the future.

What has happened as happened. I use to make shitloads of money and be and awesome shape. I regret every decision that lead to my demise, but I am working on getting past that level, even if I had to start over at 25.

you ever thought of going for a bulk? With the lifts you have now, you're like the ideal candidate for a massive bulk
