Shaded area on violation ticket (yes, another one of those questions) I've read lots of threads that basically state that mistakes in the shaded area of a violation ticket will have very little weight in getting a ticket thrown out. However, what if the mistake is more than just a mis-spelled name? Eg. If registered owner was stated as someone completely different than shown on the registration? |
Next person to post up a thread like this should be banned. You committed a violation, PAY UP THE DAMN TICKET and move on with life  |
What's the violation? If it's a moving violation (speeding, due care, fail to stop, etc.), why the hell would it matter who OWNS the car? It's the DRIVER committing the violation. |
The charge is against the driver (you) not the R.O. unless the R.O. box is ticked. As the ticket tells you....it starts with "shaded areas...." but then you can read it in front of you. |
i had a violation ticket that turned black :fuckthatshit: but i end up paying it. as long there's a ticket number, they can search it up. |

they aren't talking about the ticket being unreadable... there are sections on the ticket that the officer has to fill out that have a dark grey background that have no bearing on the validity of the ticket. |
