Have you written to the super interdependent?

Have you written to the superintendent of motor vehicles? How did it go? I just wrote a decent letter and I was just wondering. Are they generally dicks or can they be lenient?

I wrote one when I had my N and received a 3 month suspension. I remember posting about it here for advice and proceeded to explain in the letter why I needed to have the suspension reduced (I was a student at the time that also had to leave off campus for projects). In the end, my suspension was reduced to 1 month but by the time I had received the response letter back my license was ready to be reinstated anyway.

On that merit of personal experience, they are definitely lenient (and I would assume they would be more foregiving if this was your first suspension as it was mine). It was certainly a learning experience I do not wish to experience again.

Either way, it doesn't hurt to write one in and explain your situation. Good luck.

Don't know, never had to. Also I hope that you didn't address it to the super interdependent. :lawl:

dont know why u guys trollin him lol, help him out... if not, no need to post, come on guys, depending on what you are suspended on, they might be lenient, such as just getting a ticket when u got your N, they will be willing to reduce it, but it takes so long for them to reply..

Sorry. had to do that XD

I've written to them last summer for a potential 3 month prohibition. At the end of it, it was adjusted to 1 month.

You need to have VERY valid reasons (I work in automotive. no license = loss of job). I also had proof that I was no longer driving wrecklessly and have had written recommendations from three major management heads of the company.

which means:
i have a social life
I have work
I have school
I have inconveniences
I feel shitty not driving <---which is the whole point of the suspension

WILL. NOT. WORK.

u can send me a copy of it and I can pretty much tell you if they'll help you or not.

I never wrote to him personally but we have exchanged Christmas Cards in the past. :)

Come on!

With a name like DriftK1ng and wanting to write to the super interdependent, how can we take any post from him seriously?

If you don't have the time or care to spell superintendent properly, you're just some chump that is trying to get off the hook without having to put in any effort.

dlo 12-21-2011 10:08 PM

I suppose.... k carry on bashing this guy

" I also had proof that I was no longer driving wrecklessly "

So you started smashing cars again did you? "Wreckless" means without wrecking cars...ie crashing them. I believe you mean "recklessly" which means dangerously or irresponsibly. It's like saying "I could care less" when you mean the exact opposite that you could NOT care less. It's a double negative thingie. Sorry, couldn't resist. :)
