Request review of the decision to prohibit

When you submit a review are you prohibited from driving from the moment you hand in your letter to icbc or do they make a decision after theyve read your letter and ur free to drive until then?

U are prohibited, I thought I was free to drive, got pulled over. Got driving while prohibited.. Impound 7 days and they said I couldn't drive for a year, then went to fight it to a judge by myself no lawyer, due to having a clean record and good intentions for my license they dropped the charge. IMO just don't drive till then, I ended up fighting it for 4months and my suspension was only 2 months LOL.

Read the letter you get. You are prohibited until you no longer are prohibited....unless and until you convince the MVB that they are wrong and you are right. They say they are writing to tell you that. IF you are sucessful in the appeal, then, and only then, you are permitted to drive again.
