this reminds me of taco rice I make sometimes.

I use a version of this recipe. Olives subbed with tomatoes and avocados and I throw in some salsa in there if I have it lying around. Could probably use more ground beef.

Speaking of tacos, me and my buddy and my gf had a taco night.

1.5 pounds of extra lean ground beef, head of lettuce sliced, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar, sour cream, corn and black bean salsa and really cheap tortillas from the PBF

Good to know about buying taco seasoning in bulk. Been using the yellow package low sodium taco seasoning or fajita mix for burritos for a few months now.

into 3 freezer bags. 2 in freezer 1 in fridge.
also thats 4 large tupperwares of multigrain spaghetti beside it.

in total it should all be good for about 8 meals. took 45 minutes to prepare (half of which was cruising revscene while it cooked). will take less than 2 minutes to put together and microwave for lunch meal.

Who has the best frozen chicken breast? Like big 3-4kg or bigger bags or boxes.
Ive tried Costco, Safeway and M&M. Id like to find one that isnt so pumped full of crap that its rubbery when it comes out of the oven.

Also, what about pasta sauce? Im a fan of Hunts thick and rich pasta sauce but I need MORE. Like huge cans of it . the regular off the shelf sized cans or jars or sauce end up costing a fortune.

They are all pumped full of salt and crap. Ever notice how when you cook them, they don't cook normally like an unfrozen chicken breast? Stay away from that shit!

Pasta sauce, wait for no-frills to go on sale. Their pasta sauce goes on sale for $1 a bottle every few weeks. Right now, it's Catelli Garden Select pasta sauce. Also buy two cans of hunts tomatoes for $1 to add to your pasta sauce.
