Yeah we picked one up in bellevue for my kid like 2 weeks ago for like $5 . works like a charm.

About time we get one in vancouver, I used to go to the one in calgary all the time when i used to live there .

I had the technic space shuttle when I was a kid... The fiber optics blew my mind. Still have it and I put it together with my gf recently but we found out that the motor might be dead since the motorized functions and the fiber optics lights aren't working anymore
Does anyone have experience with motorized technic sets? Do they motors have a lifespan?

I soooo remember that one in store, I wanted it so bad, especially with the battery/motor kit.

I remember I had this one;

And this pit crew one

^ SO cool man. I was impressed with my Indy car when it had an open diff and pistons, let alone a working manual transmission!

Lego was the shit. I hope my future children will love it as much as I did...so I can play with it again! Such a great toy...makes kids think and it's still fun as hell.

6399 Airport Shuttle is worth a lot of money... $500 at least, more if you have everything in good condition!

Those fucking slim pieces where you can't get any grip on either piece separately (or at least I couldn't cause my fingers were/are fat). They also always seemed to fit VERY tightly with the other pieces.

And then they had the flat top slim pieces, used for the wings of the F1 cars in this set 6335 Indy Transport - Brickipedia, the LEGO Wiki (first set ever at age 6!) that had a little section at the bottom of them that you could dig your nails into. (but they never introduced this concept to the other pieces)

And then one day my dad invited relatives over, stuffed the little kids in my room while I was at school and all my lego sets never had a chance of survival. Fort Legoredo was destroyed within minutes. I could never ever rebuild it.

For the longest time, I thought it was a door wedge (used to hold a door open)!
