Driving to Sun Peaks

which car to take for my ski trip? My Acura CL-s but its got all seasons tires on there. Integra with Nokian WR winter rated all season tires, but kinda loud exhaust. OR Pathfinder 4wd with good all season tires?
My CL-s is mine, quiet, comfy and has satilite radio. Also decent on gas.
GF's Integra, kinda comfy but loud. Has winter rated tires.
Pathfinder, 4x4, decent all terrains, pig on gas. 4x4!!!!
i don't have chains for any of these vehicles. i'll be driving the Coquihalla to Kamloops then to Sun Peaks.
My buddy made it to Edmonton in a M3 with summer tires in the middle of winter. There and back, so i might take My CL-s. He saids i'll be fine. The roads are well maintained all the way there.
I take my CL-s to whistler, cypress, seymore w/o issues rain or shine or snow.
Is there a clear choice?

I made the trip a few weeks ago. It was compact snow between Hope and Merritt when I went up. I had a front-wheel drive Lancer with snow tires on. Felt safe for the most part. Passing flatbed trucks was a little freaky when I had one side on road and one side on compact snow. The drive up and down the mountain was a bit slippery at the top and I had a few SUV's on my butt.

last year when i went to Vernon, the Coquihala was a death pit. snow ice and rocks the entire highway, i'm so glad i didn't drive my own car there.

if the conditions are similar, i would take a car with snows, my friends with all seasons on their Murano and Range Rover Sport got there and back fine, but they said it did slip a bit.

I love just turning the knob to 4x4 and passing people.
