GoPro Lens Scratched

I scratched the lens on the actual GoPro camera (not the protective case). I saw people fixing it on Youtube with headlight restorer. Has anyone tried this before? Should I attempt this?

It's just deep enough that you can feel it with your nail.

ouch... Not a clue how to fix it as I havnt really looked into replacing it other then the lens cover on the case itself. interested in what you find out for fixing it as a new one would suck money wise

Where? The only replacement lens I've seen is for the protective casing.

Headlight restorer is worth a shot...maybe try to buffer it out... Toothpaste doesn't work that well....

there is anti-reflective coating on the go pro lens. any type of headlight restoring or whatnot will remove the coating.
