Budget blinds? Sometimes you'll find that Zellers will have a 2 for 1 deal or if you're patient you can always check at Rona and Home Depot for blinds that have been miss-cut.

I got some vertical blinds for my apartment here, from my mom's recommendation:

Blinds Vancouver | Window Coverings | Brite Blinds

They'll come in and measure for free. They charged $50 for the install but it was a flat rate for as many blinds as I ordered.

I would definitely at least check pricing at home depot. They can do custom sizing through special order, and there are a few types that they cut in house-not sure if the type you want are able to be done.

I get the 1" aly kind for the building, all cut right there to my specs-super cheap, super quick.

Yeah dude, I'm saying they have them there, and if you are content to install yourself, it may be on par with one of the other companies, or it may not.

I checked quickly when I was walking through that department.

For a 48"x48" window(used it as a standard) it was $68 for 2" and $74 for 2 1/2" and they can be cut in store to your desired size.

Got mine at Home Depot in Bellingham. Think they were almost half price of what I would have paid up here.

Whole Sale Blind Factroy
Blinds Vancouver | Vancouver Blinds | Wholesale Blind Factory

right next to the Ikea in Coquitlam.
Thats where im getting blinds for my house and apartment. It was between them and Brite Blinds. Brite blinds was cheaper by a bunch which worried me regarding quality, life span, sagging, disscolouration etc.
I still found Wholesale blind factories prices to be good though. ordering mine in a week or two.

can't believe no ones said it yet. CBM ( Canadian Blind Manufacturing ) good quality and good pricing. I believe they have a range of faux to real wood and roller shades as well
