CTek Battery charger on sale at CT for $50

I think it is a really hot deal.. I swear by these things.. it desulphates (only issue with this procedure is it dries out the electrolyte on the long term, so I would avoid this for sealed batteries).

They are way better built then BatteryMinder etc.. which I had use and honestly are a piece of junk compared to this.

i have one... only thing is if your battery is very weak, or flat, it will not charge it at all... it's a great maintenance charger tho...

i paid $75 plus tax from lordco... this is a good deal!!

Yes, that is not the problem with the charger.. it is the problem with the battery... in those cases the chemical equilibrium has moved way to far to hold a charge, it actually needs a higher voltage some people try to put plug in directly to mains.. the "kick" the equilibrium.. however it risks fair and explosion..

CTek is one of the best battery charger/Maintainer on the market.
I owned 2. Brought them from Lordco for almost $100 each
Great Deal

Not true, It can charge weak or "dead" batteries. If it won't hold the charge after the charging period then your battery is pretty much a dud.

From experience, it won't revive a battery that is weak or "dead."

I hooked the CTek up to the battery in my MR2 - no dice, even after 24 hours. I had to use the Canadian Tire/Schumacher branded charger to get it going again and then that's when the CTek came in handy.

Overall good maintenance charger but not one that will restore the life of dead or weak batteries. Your mileage my vary, I suppose.
