cutting foundation?

anyone have expeience cutting a foundation wall?

i've got a foundation wall in my bsmt that is approx 3' high and i'd like to cut part out to make a doorway.

any idea of how much that would cost? any recommendations for someone to do it?

Foundation walls are there for a purpose. You might want to get a structural engineer to look at the situation first before you do all that cutting? Most foundation walls I would imagine are load bearing

If its done in a wall with an existing window then it wouldn't be a problem. It will cost a bit for sure.

Try Tony Rodriguez with Firm Built Construction at 604-992-4690 he did the exact same thing for my nephew last year.
