2006 Acura Tl with Navi Ipod Integration? Bluetooth Issues...

Any TL members on here install a iPod interface for their cars? Was wondering if there is a solution out there.

Also secondly the Bluetooth doesn't work anymore and I've read up that a new HRL module needs to be replaced. Anyone know where i can get one for a good price? Installation seems easy enough that I can do myself.

Thanks!

Acura has their own oem iPod connectivity which u can get but if I remember correctly it is a lot more expensive than isimple. I have it on my 08 tls when I bought second hand; it was installed by the previous owner. It connects to the cd changer so u don't suffer from sound quality loss. there is a down side to this tho...and I hate it... And that is when u connect ur iPod to it u can't control the iPod. In other words u can't look for a specific song u want to listen on the playlist so u will just have to keep pressing next next next on ur steering wheel or center console. Well I guess if ur driving u shouldn't be playing with ur iPod anyways lol

No clue how much your stuff was but if you want to integrate it into your stock system.. you can try GromAudio.com.

I have their iPod unit in my Audi and works like a dream.

If you're looking to get a ton of songs, why not check out acurazine guide to DVD audio creation. Using regular DVD-r, you can store close to 100 songs per DVD. Since the 06 does not do mp3 and no aux jack, this is probably cheaper way to get close to 600 songs in your cd changer.

Acurazine.com and look for user: adobeman
