The best captain? Definitely not Janeway.
YOU SHUT YOUR FACE.

The TNG two-part finale was epic. "All Good Things". IT HAD THREE PICARDS.

Get your hands on the finale, it's worth watching. Remember how Voyager finale had two Janeways? Well TNG finale has THREE Picards so yeah.

Also, old man beats bitchy lady in a fist fight. Although big black guy will beat up both so really you should just watch DS9.

In the "Encounter at Farpoint" where Q was actually threatening the human race, the first appearance of Q, I'll buy that argument. In subsequent appearances Picard was still diplomatic to a fault, where Sisko had the balls to shake things up and deviate from Q's expectations of Star fleet.

I'm not a fan of Seven, nice body, but so cold. Out of character, Jeri Ryan is a prude.

Jadzia Dax would be my pick for the best and most attractive Trek girl, Ezri Dax the runner up, maybe I have a thing for Trills. I do like Kira Nerys as well though, so maybe I just love all that is DS9.

ah but you see the entire series was supposed to be a "trial" for mankind. everytime Q shows up he was supposed to be "checking up" due to the request of the other Qs in the continuum.
The finale was when Picard proved to the continuum that humans are worthwhile to keep and "not just a waste of bones and flesh"

And who can forget... TNG brought this kid along for the ride

Getting back on track............ I really think the CV-6 Enterprise, the 7th vessel to bear the name, made the biggest impact for the Americans. It is the original "Big E". The most honoured ship in US Navy history. Midway, Guadalcanal, and Leyte Gulf, etc.

The Entreprise the OP referred to is the CVN-65 (1961) post WWII. An awesome ship nonetheless.

As for the women of Star Trek of all kinds, my favourites are T'Pol and the one with the uber sexy neck in DS9. I want to be her Trill right now, LOLOLOLOL. Married to Worf? Boo....

Spoiler!

Now, Dax is pushing 50

Troi is 56.

The good Doctor? Age 63(actually looking pretty close to her appearance in All Good Things...)

Seven is 44

And my fave is Kira...

At age 54 is NOT currently rocking being a blond.

Was never really a fan of deep space 9 or voyager but I could always watch the next generation, I always found it more interesting. I'll still watch the odd episode on the space channel when I see it on. Maybe it's just cause of picard, who knows lol.

No love for Tasha Yar, Ro Laren, Hoshi Sato or Ensign Robin Lefler (a young Ashley Judd)?
