Need help identifying original owner for this car (was a rev scene member)

Hey guys, just bought a used MR2. It was sitting in the rain for 2 years (lots of rust) and apparently it's fuel pump isn't working. Previous owner said that the guy before him is the one who installed all the mods and etc. The car has a revscene sticker so I'm pretty sure he's on this site. I really need to ask him a few questions about the car and the mods he's done. If anyone knows who it is that would be awesome! Car is a 88 MR2 SC with the following mods,

Short throw shifter
Tokico adjustable shocks
HKS Supercharger underdrive pulley
HKS exhaust
Front and rear strut bars
Omp steering wheel
Air/fuel meter

Here's a pic:

Thanks!

fliptuner 03-14-2012 01:03 AM

Dukes, did you buy that car off a Chinese guy named Jason, years ago?

bcrdukes 03-14-2012 01:31 AM

No.

I owned this I think in 2002/2003 and sold it I think in the winter of 04 or 05. I bought a 93 Turbo afterwards.

this is an old thread but i owned this car as well. probably was the last person who actually drove it before selling it to someone in whiterock who i guess killed it.

all the problems that 'ali' had were not my cause. fuel pump was new when i sold it.

owned it for about 2 years from 2007-09.

wonder if its still around.

I let one of your old Cressidas die peacefully......

fliptuner 05-29-2014 10:13 PM

I drove your other Cressy til it went out with a BANG!!!! :awwyeah:

First the HG blew, so I ghetto "re-sealed" it, then grenaded the diff to the point both wheels locked up and I had to rock it between P and R til all the bits loosened up and I could get it to a parking spot. Next day there was a nice pool of gear oil under it. After selling the wheels and scrapping it, I think it cost me under 200 bucks.

cozmosland 05-29-2014 10:32 PM

I had to rub it on the seals by myself :(
:P stupid thing leaked like no tomorrow
