new whine

Thanks in advance for advice

98 esort se, rebuilt alt and new battery 2 months ago

running 4AWG from alternator (fused) to positive terminal
running 4AWG from battery negative to chasis (strut mount) and engine
running 5+AWG (scoshe wire size) from positive to splitter

running 5+ from splitter to JL 500/1, wired to Exile XI12 DVC (ground is 5+AWG)
running 8AWG from splitter to Audison SRx4 (ground for this amp is also 4AWG)
Srx4 connected to two JBL GTO 628 coax in front and GTO 528 in rear

power wires and signal are run opposite sides of car

very minimal headlight dim (hard to notice)

when headlights turned on, with volume at 0 on deck, i hear a sine wave from all speakers, not sub. Revving does not change volume or frequency.

unplugged one set of rca from amp and it got dramatically quieter, but still there

I do not hear it from the subwoofer either

how close can grounds be on a car? Why is it doing this going on a road trip in 3 days PLEASE HELP!!

and how does my set up sound?

Awesome!
For other people experiencing whine issues, try and run a ground wire from the deck's ground to the amplifier's ground. We have reduced whine issues by about 95% by using this procedure in deck + amplifier installs.
