I just got my appendix out, how long until i can work out

It's been like 1.5 weeks since I got it out. I think I'm recovering a lot faster than the doctor said I would (she said like take it easy for a month because it'll still hurt) but the only pain i feel now is when i push on my stitches.

wondering how long until it's safe for me to workout again. a month seems sooo long. btw, I forgot if my stitches were biodegradable or I have to go back to the hospital to take them out, anyone know how to tell the difference? LOL

How Long After An Appendectomy Before I Can Exercise? | LIVESTRONG.COM

Quote:
Appendectomy is a common procedure performed when your appendix has become infected and painful. Following the surgery, is it crucial that you rest and refrain from physical activity for a period of time to allow your body to heal. This usually takes about two weeks, although you should consult with your doctor before resuming exercise to ensure you do not put yourself at risk for complications.

Please ask your doctor. Tell them you feel no pain, and is considering working out in a couple of weeks
