A couple of IPAs I would recommend:
- Lagunitas Maximus IPA (though, their regular IPA is quite good.)
- Fat Tug IPA

Hef
And
Shaftsbury Cream Ale (The red can)
And
Guinness (not the crap in the can), I want the good stuff from a tap. I swear, the taste is insanely on two ends of a spectrum.

Fun fact, Guinness is not vegan/vegetarian friendly when canned/bottled, but it is when kegged (I know this matters to no one on rs but me ).

The BCLS in Langley has started carrying more single tallboys. There's around a dozen different ones. Domestic and Imports. There's a few for under $2, but most are under $2.50. Grolsh tallboys have been on sale for 2.10, recently. I like Grolsh!

I had what was on tap at Steamworks brewery, and it was 9% so they only served a half pint at a time.

Sorry, stella and becks and all those other beers.. i much rather grab a granville island anytime (I will never turn down Granville island Winter ale and my awesome gf got me Chocolate Granville Island limited edition) That was just pure awesomeness.
Then again Guiness is great once in a blue moon. | You should try the Philips Longboat Chocolate porter if you liked the Granville island version.
