STOLEN: My '73 240Z Was Broken Into

Hey guys,

My car was broken into in my friend's driveway here in Westbank (Daimler and Highway 97) and the thieves stole a ton of stuff from it. This happened between last night and this morning between 10 PM and 9 AM. We were here checking out the Knox hillclimb and the Datsun car show.

The police case file is 2012-24508. I really appreciate the help and am majorly upset that this happened.

Stuff that was stolen:

Nardi 330mm. deep corn steering wheel - black perforated leather with red stitching
NRG slim thin quick release attached to the wheel
Black w/ blue pattern Dakine backpack
Nikon D50 DSLR camera
Nikon SB600 flash - transparent red cover on the front was cracked and held together with modelling glue
Nikon 18-55 and 50mm. f1.8 lenses
Oakley Gascan sunglasses - white frame with red mirror lens and red O logo
Invicta watch - stainless silver, submariner style
Nixon watch - plastic yellow with grey spots on the band
Swiss Army knife
Black leather Paul Smith wallet - has a really colourful inset of a Mini suspended on a crane

I understand that some of the stuff above are pretty general with no distinguishing features but I would like to have my wheel back if anything. I really appreciate the help once again! NEVER leave shit in your car no matter how 'safe' the circumstances are.

Grew complacent.

We were leaving this morning and I assumed it was a safe neighbourhood since we were here all weekend without issues with several nice cars.

Holy shit beautiful car..
Sucks big time.

The wheel and camera/accessories are most likely to end up on Craigslist.. I don't think anything else on that list would be worth selling, maybe the Invicta and Oakleys for cheap.

Already have, thanks dude.

It was the first time I ever left so much shit in my car, just so happened to be the worst and last time. 7 other cars on the street were hit last night too. Brutal.

Sucks!

I think I see your car parked in the neighbourhood; I was admiring it when I was out for a walk on this past Saturday morning.
